Planet Walk & Meteorite Exploration!

Join volunteers from the Astronomical Society of New Haven to explore meteorites from our solar system and take a scaled planet walk (weather permitting) to understand the relative sizes of our planets and the distances that separate them. This is a great family program!

Learn about the ancient tradition of Henna! Join Internationally Certified Natural Henna Artist Elyse Sadtler for an informational workshop! Explore what henna is, where it comes from, its history, cultural significance, the science of henna on skin, and basic design elements. Play a trivia game, watch a henna paste mixing demonstration, and learn how to draw a mandala. Participants will receive a henna design on their hand!
