Festival Kickoff Event – RSVP Only

On Firday, September 5th, meet and mingle with the Gallery One Partners in the studio to kick off your Arts Fest Weekend. Sponsored by Delaware Division of the Arts, enjoy wine tastings from Salted Vines Vineyard & Winery and lite fare from Taste Events. All registered guests are entered into winning a raffle prize which includes an original piece and a $300 gift card.

5:00 - 7:00 PM: Meet the Artists of Gallery One Reception

For over 45 years, festival-goers have savored the end of summer at the annual Arts Festival, proving there is not a more beautiful backdrop for unique works of art. The Bethany-Fenwick Area Chamber of Commerce invites you to Gallery One on the eve of the Arts Festival to enjoy an intimate setting of wine, lite fare, and a chance to mingle with Gallery One partners. Sponsored by Delaware Division of the Arts, reserve your spot for this event taking place on Friday.

The Meet the Artists Reception is an RSVP-only event. Reservations are limited. Wait-list option will be available.

The popular one-day show features jewelry, glass, pottery, watercolor and oil paintings, photography, woodworking, and much more! Over 100 juried artists, both local and from around the country, will display their work along the bandstand, boardwalk, and streets of downtown Bethany Beach. For over four decades, festival-goers have savored the end of summer at the annual event, proving there is not a more beautiful backdrop for unique works of art.

Scavenger Hunt - Complete for a chance to win a prize! 

Grab a Scavenger Hunt printout at the nearest Arts Festival info tent.

Visit participating businesses and find the local student artwork inside.

Drop off your completed printout at the Arts Festival info tent or at Bethany Beach Books until end of day Sunday (9/7).

Silent Auction

The annual event serves as a fundraiser for the arts programs at five local schools. The silent auction is comprised of pieces donated by participating artists, and is hosted on the Bethany Beach Bandstand from 10 am - 2 pm. The schools which benefit from the silent auction are Lord Baltimore Elementary School, Southern Delaware School of the Arts, John M. Clayton Elementary School, Phillip C. Showell Elementary School and Selbyville Middle School.

10:00 am - 2:00 pm: Silent Auction at Bandstand
Silent auction items can be picked up starting at 3:00 pm
