From: State Historical Society of North DakotaThe Bis-Man Rail Bridge Fund is a one-time grant opportunity to document the history and legacy of the Bismarck-Mandan Rail Bridge. Applications for salvage, exhibits, special projects, and education activities directly related to the history the bridge are now being accepted. Completed applications must be received by the State Historical Society of North Dakota by 5 p.m. on Friday, April 21.
This grant program is administered by the State Historical Society. Applications and guidelines for the grant programs are available at history.nd.gov or can be requested by contacting Grants and Contracts Officer Amy Munson at 701.328.3573. Funding of $500,000 is provided by BNSF Railway Company for this grant program under a memorandum of agreement with the U.S. Coast Guard.
