The Blue Ridge Fiber Fest brings together farmer, vendors and fiber artists for a celebration of the fiber arts.

We will have classes, demonstrations  and events galore! Plus lots of great vendors for your shopping pleasure.

Crochet - Learn basic crochet or expand your skills 

Stitchery- Learn various styles of stiching and collage 

Felting - Learn to make all kinds of felted items

Knitting - Expand your knitting skills

Spinning - Learn to spin or expand your skills

Weaving and Basketry - Learn to create beautiful fabric on different types of looms or make a basket

Miscellaneous - Knit jewelry and color!

This year, all fiber fest classes (except the dyeing classes) will be held at the Sparta United Methodist Church fellowship hall.  This facility is located at 190 N. Main Street, Sparta, NC, almost directly across the street from the Alleghany Inn.  

Space is limited for all classes.  Classes will run if the minimum number of students is met, so to be sure and get the class you want, invite a friend to register, too!  Last minute registration is not recommended, and will only be accommodated if the instructor allows.  We hate to disappoint folks, so register early!  

All materials fees are to be paid directly to the instructor
