Bob Frank and Friends play live at the Bainbridge Swing Dance on Saturday, August 2nd, 2025. Doors open at 6:30pm. Lesson at 7pm. Dance and live music 8-10pm. Plus an extra hour of Electro Swing with curated recorded playlist 10-11pm. The Bainbridge Swing Dance features a different live band the first Saturday of every month at Family Life Center (16349 Chillicothe Road, Chagrin Falls, OH 44023).

According to The Free Times, Bob "Frank is a first-class guitarist and vocalist." In a recent cd review, Vintage Guitar Magazinesaid, “Frank is a first rate songwriter and a champion guitar player.” Bob has played many different kinds of music including bluegrass, old-timey, swing, rock, reggae and Caribbean, but is known these days as an expert in a wide variety of blues styles.

Between 1995 and 2019 Bob served as guitarist, vocalist, arranger, and producer for the eight-piece band Blue Lunch. Under Bob’s leadership the band recorded and released eight highly acclaimed cd recordings. He is also one of the founders of the Cleveland Blues Society. He is one of the original board members of that organization and still serves as the director of the educational, historical, and hall of fame committees. The swing dance, with live band performance, begins at 8:00 p.m. Preceded by a one hour east coast swing dance lesson at 7:00 p.m. Doors open at 6:30pm. Plus an extra hour of Electro Swing at 10:00 p.m.  Experienced and non-experienced dancers are welcome. This public, family-friendly event is open to all ages. No partner is required for the lesson or the dance. No registration needed.
