Join us for the 2023 Bondu Blues and Brews Festival starting at 6:30! Ronley King Blues Band will bring the tunes!

This is a family-friendly event at the Bondurant’s iconic regional trailhead in the heart of the Chichaqua Valley Trail system. The evening includes two Des Moines-based blues bands, so you are invited to bring your lawn chairs, blankets, friends, and family. After the opening act, the homebrew competition judges reveal the homebrew winners. Bondurant’s local Reclaimed Rails and Brewing Company collects homebrew submissions from all of Central Iowa – family entertainment at no charge, maybe a smiling face. Showcased along the Chichaqua Valley Trail is art from the Sidewalk Chalk Art Competition held earlier in the day. The public is encouraged to participate in a people’s choice vote on the art showcased by Bondurant natives.

Enjoy food trucks, bounce houses, face painting, balloon animals, and ice-cold treats in the charming Bondurant

The winner and runner-up for the home brewing competition will be announced at 7:30 PM.

A bounce house, balloon animals, and face painting will be available for the kiddos (free of charge), and food & drink will be available for purchase for all!

Please be sure to bring your own chairs/blankets, sunscreen, and/or bug spray!
