From: Brazos Valley Museum Of Natural HistoryAll aboard for an exciting world of adventure! The Brazos Valley Museum of Natural History is pleased to announce its Winter Mini Camp program, Magic School Bus Adventures, on Monday, December 30; Tuesday, December 31;
Thursday, January 2; and Friday, January 3; from 9 am to 3 pm, with before and after camp care available.
Each day is an wonderful adventure to explore the world around us!
Children (ages 4 through 12) have the opportunity to learn fun facts about outer space; bees & ants; the digestive system; and archaeology through interactive lessons, crafts, and games.
Students may come for one day, several days, or even all four.

Monday - December 30
Explore Outer Space
Would you like to get lost in space, a frontier worth exploring? Join us as we learn about our neighboring planets and beyond, as well as the other marvels of outer space.
Tuesday - December 31
Inspect Insect Colonies
Did you know social insects live in large family groups called hives or colonies? We will discover how they work together to find food, protect their homes, raise their young, and thrive as a team.
Thursday - January 2
Dive into Digestion
Where does digestion begin? Where does 90% of your digestion take place? Dive into digestion with us and discover what happens to the food we eat.
Friday - January 3
Dig into Archaeology
Dig into the past and explore what mysteries artifacts have to share! What tools do archaeologists use and how do they use them? Join us as we interpret artifacts and learn what amazing discoveries they hold.
Museum facilities include classroom areas, a Discovery Room, and a 40-acre park, all used to enhance the learning experience.
Museum staff members are experienced educators and classes are organized by age groups.
To ensure personalized instruction, classes are kept small, with an educator to student ratio of 1:10.
