From: Stratford LibraryThe Stratford Library will host Bridgeport author Andy Piascik for a special "Meet-the-Author" program. Piascik will discuss his new book, Radical Connecticut: People's History in the Constitution State. Co-authored by Steve Thornton, the program is held in conjunction with the nationwide observance of "Black History Month". The talk is free and open to the public.
Author Andy Piascik's Radical Connecticut provides needed insight and perspective on the history of the Constitution state. A monumental work of scholarship that is also loads of fun to read, the authors inspire Connecticut residents to realize that they, too, live in a place alive with radical history.
"Meet-the-Author: Andy Piascik" will be held in the Stratford Library Lovell Room beginning at 6:30 pm on February 27. Piascik will have autographed copies of his book available for purchase following the program.
