The Library Board of Trustees advises the Board of County Commissioners. They oversee matters related to the Cabarrus County Library System, including:
program planning
policy creation or revision
budgetary recommendations
facility maintenance

The Cabarrus County Public Library is in need of:
One-on-one tutors for non-native English speakers
English speakers/classroom instructors who can teach English or writing skills to non-native English speakers
