Join us for lap time stories and rhymes, music and more for your babies up to 24 months.
-Drop-In Brick Builders Club
Stop in every Tuesday from 3:30pm-5:00pm for our weekly Brick Builders! Design, build and complete Lego challenges. For school aged youth: Kindergarten through 5th grade.
-Kid’s Flash Craft
Join us every Wednesday in February, at the Carrollton Branch Library from 3:30pm to 5:00pm for fast, fun and easy kid crafts. While supplies last.
-Teen Take and Make, First of the Month
Stop by the Carrollton Branch each month to grab a Teen Take and Make Kit! Each month features a different craft, suitable for ages 13+. All materials included, while supplies last.
-Spice of the Month Kits, First of the Month
Stop by the Carrollton Branch to grab a Spice of the Month kit! Each month features a sample of a different unique spice, history and cultural information, and recipes! While supplies last.
-Winter Escape Room Challenge, February 18th February 25th 10:00am-3:00pm
Are you clever enough to escape from the Yeti’s Lair? Put your problem solving skills to the test in this timed, family-friendly challenge! Registration is required. Groups may register, limit 10 per group.
-Death & Donuts, February 22nd at 6:00pm
Calling all fans of true crime, horror and mysteries! Join the newest book club at the Carrollton branch. Each month, we’ll read a different selected book and chat about what we are reading and watching. This month we will be reading and discussing Becky Cooper’s “We Keep the Dead Close: A Murder at Harvard and a Half Century of Silence”. Open to ages 18+
-Drop It Like It’s Hot Romance Book Club: Thursday, February 23rd at 7:00pm
Romance Book Club will be discussing Alicia Thompson’s “Love in the Time of Serial Killers”. Join us online Thursday, February 23rd at 7:00pm for our Zoom meeting. Email Tabatha at [email protected] to join in on the fun. Copies available at the branch and online.
-Chapter Chat Middle School Book Club, Monday February 27th at 4:15pm
Join us on the last Monday of the month for Chapter Chat Middle School Book Club! We’ll read a great book, talk about it and have snacks. For Tweens aged 12-15. Registration is required, the first eight tweens to register will receive a free copy of that month’s book club book! Book choice of the month is “The School for Good and Evil” by Soman Chainani.
