College Tuition Scholarship Fund

It is a new year with new possibilities for young artists. This is why each year we are delighted to feature the unique and extraordinary talent of our local youth with our annual High School Student Showcase which will be exhibited at the Visual Arts Center’s Main and Tranovich galleries on May 1st through May 8th, 2025.

This tradition at Arts Bonita, dating back to 1996, has helped countless high school seniors achieve their dreams in the arts by pursuing a greater education in their field of choice. Presently they are building portfolios and applying to colleges in the hopes of being admitted so that they might continue to hone their skills in art, architecture, design, music, dance, theatre, or media arts. As we all know, however, those endeavors can be costly – from tuition to books to materials, everything required to complete that education adds up and often times students struggle to find the funds for this.

Our annual Student Showcase not only serves to present these high school artists and their works to the community, but it gives graduating senior student applicants an opportunity to be awarded a scholarship that will assist them as they pursue a collegiate education. We hope that you will also choose to keep this tradition alive by considering creating a scholarship fund in the amount of your choosing that will be awarded to one of these students. These scholarships can be made in your name or in a name of your choice.

If you are interested in being a part of this honorable pursuit, please email us or give us a call 239-495-8989 to coordinate a date and time where you can personally review the candidates’ portfolios and select the student whom will receive your scholarship.

The exhibition itself will take place from May 1st to 8th, with a closing reception open and free to the public on Thursday, May 8th from 6-8pm featuring not only artwork from those students but also select pieces by performing arts students throughout the evening. The scholarships awarded to these talented students will be presented at the reception.

Once your donation is received we'll contact you with details on how you view student portfolios, choose your student who will receive your Named Scholarship, and present your scholarship at the Reception and Awards Ceremony on May 8th, 2025
