May 19, 2025

Waukesha, Wis. – Chosen Inc. of Wisconsin (“Chosen”), a non-profit ministry dedicated to supporting and celebrating foster and adoptive families, will hold its first-ever golf outing Sept. 24 at Western Lakes Golf Club, Pewaukee.

Tee Up for Chosen will offer a full day of golf, lunch and dinner, contests and more. Sponsorships are available, offering organizations a ground-floor opportunity to align their brand with this new event. Silent auction donations are welcomed.

Player registration and sponsorships can be accessed via this link: bit.ly/TeeUp2025. Players also receive two drink tickets, pre-dinner appetizers, and access to a silent auction.

Dedicated to “Fostering Forever Families,”  Chosen provides hands-on programs, outreach and educational initiatives for foster and adoptive families. Its Family Closet, opened in Waukesha in 2017, has distributed more 70,000 items to 700 families with 1,750 children in care, across 13 southeastern Wisconsin counties

Tee Up for Chosen will continue the countdown toward launch of Chosen’s new Mobile Family Closet, set to hit the streets in late 2025. This innovative, mobile resource will bring clothing and essential supplies directly to foster and adoptive families in underserved communities, and to those who might face challenges with transportation or child care.

“We are thrilled to hold our first-ever golf outing, both to provide a day full of fun and fellowship, and to introduce new friends to Chosen’s mission.” said Karen Schlindwein, Board President of Chosen. “Everyone knows someone with foster or adopted children. The calling to support them is tremendous. Every swing at this outing will help us meet their unique and growing needs.”

Chosen is dedicated to educating the public about the impact of adoption and fostering, while providing spiritual, material, and emotional support to families navigating these often-misunderstood journeys. Chosen also connects families with resource referrals to organizations and professionals that help them.
