The Community Development Department will be accepting Facade Grant Applications until Tuesday, March 28, 2023. Apply today!
The City of Alameda's Façade Grant Program provides business and property owners with matching grants to improve their storefronts and enhance the city’s retail districts.
Under the Façade Grant Program, business and property owners may be eligible for matching grants up to $15,000 for exterior painting, new awnings and signs, and refurbishment of architectural features.

Applications Still Being Accepted for Microbusinesses & Non-Profit Grants
The State of California is offering $2,500 grants to small businesses and non-profits in Alameda County that were affected by COVID-19.
This program will provide grants to microbusiness (businesses that have fewer than 5 employees and earn less than $50,000 per year) that were in operation in 2019, still in operation, and were impacted by the COVID-19 public health restrictions, as well as non-profit organizations with $1,000 - $2.5 million revenue. It is funded by the California Office of the Small Business Advocate and administered by Chabot-Las Positas Community College District.
