Slayter Creek Skate Park closes for renovations
Slayter Creek Skate Park is officially closed as the city prepares for the construction of the new course. SPA Skateparks has been selected as the contractor and the 3D renderings are now available for viewing.

Ribbon cutting rescheduled
The Sherley Heritage Park Train ribbon cutting has been rescheduled for Feb. 7. Please join us as we celebrate the arrival of the Anna Mogul 201 returning to Anna with a ribbon cutting event at 5 p.m. The Anna Depot and museum will be open 4-6 p.m. for presentations about the history of Mogul 201.

City Council approves Success Statements for new Strategic Plan
In December, the Anna City Council met to discuss the future of the City of Anna in advance of a new strategic plan. On Tuesday, Jan. 24, they adopted seven proposed success statements, replacing the City's previous strategic plan. The seven strategic outcome areas make up the City Council's new vision for Anna and explain what they mean.

Following the City Council's vote to adopt the statements, staff will present a proposed plan during a work session on Feb. 14, outlining key activities needed to accomplish the vision.
