The most picturesque marathon ever, the Lost Dutchman Marathon, is this weekend! Starting in Gold Canyon and finishing in Prospector Park in Apache Junction, the marathon is in its 22nd year. Run completely by an all-volunteer board of directors, proceeds from the event go to local youth organizations focused on the economically disadvantaged. In the two decades of the race, the marathon has donated more than $778,000 to the community.
