BUDA, TEXAS — A new information technology manager recently joined the staff at the City of Buda. 

Daniel Signorino brings experience in both technology and real estate. He most recently served as director of information technology for Valley House Rehabilitation Center in Santa Clara, Calif., and as a real estate agent with RE/MAX Posh Properties and Keller Williams SWMC. Signorino previously has worked as a network administrator for Century 21 Champion in Santa Clara. He earned his associates degree in computer science from Foothill College in Los Altos Hills, Calif. 

For the City of Buda, Signorino will manage the 

City’s technology infrastructure in a way that provides a secure, reliable, and advanced technology environment. Overall, his responsibilities generally include managing the City’s network infrastructure, servers, desktops, phone systems, and software.

“Daniel has a level of professionalism, experience, and knowledge to address the City’s growing information technology needs,” Assistant City Manager Lauren Middleton-Pratt said. “We’re looking forward to seeing him apply his talents throughout the City’s tech systems.”

The City of Buda is home to about 18,000 residents and has earned designations as a “Texas Main Street City,” “Tree City USA,” “Bee City Affiliate” and “Platinum-Level Scenic City.” Buda is situated along the Interstate 35 corridor in Hays County, has 14 parks and a historic downtown district where residents and visitors alike can shop, dine, relax, and breathe easy here.
