Sewer Rate Study by ARWA

Arkansas Rural Water Association (ARWA) conducted a Sewer Rate Study for year 2021, for the City of Cotter. Attached is the Sewer Rate Study dated November 30, 2022. Recommendation can be found on page seven. ARWA recommendation on page seven state that current sewer rates are adequate, but they recommended adjusting rates annually to “Cover Cost of Service Increases” (3%-5%) for annual inflation. Council will consider recommendations on page seven in the near future. A notice of “public comment” meeting is required before any action can be taken.
