Rockville Park and open space areas closure to remain in effect until January 13 or longer

Due to multiple issues caused by the excessive rain, Rockville Hills Regional Park and open space areas will not open on January 9 as previously reported.  At this point, the park and open spaces will remain closed through Friday, January 13, and possibly longer, to give Public Works staff time for necessary cleanup and repairs to make it safe for visitors. 

There is complete saturation of the soil, rock slides, and overflowing ponds which effects safety. For additional information, please call Park Ranger Teri Luchini at (707) 249-3613.
