From: City of FairfieldRegister today for Stride & Ride Event
The City of Fairfield’s Parks and Recreation Department will host the “Stride & Ride” event at the Paradise Valley Golf Course on Tuesday, March 14, from 8 a.m.to 2 p.m.
This is a great opportunity for community members to walk the 2.6-mile back nine holes or bike the 2.75-mile front nine holes at one of Fairfield’s beautiful public golf courses while it is closed for regular play. A chance like this only comes around twice per year. Admission is free and open to all ages!
To register for the event, please visit www.fairfield.ca.gov/events.
For more information, contact Recreation Coordinator, Kalie Cambra, at (707) 428-7652 or [email protected].
PUMP Podcast
On this episode of our "Words With Way" podcast, guests Michael Hether and Nigel Browne from Public Works Water Utility discuss the creation of the PUMP (Public Utility Master Plan).
The plan will identify and prioritize major categories of projects across the entire water system, and serve as a planning tool to ensure our water system remains adequately funded for decades to come so we can continue to "Grow with the flow"!
