VOLUNTEERS IN POLICE SERVICE
The Forney Police Department is excited to announce that we are evolving the citizens on patrol program into a new all-encompassing approach to police volunteer work, known as a Volunteers in Police Service program. This program will allow our volunteers to expand their volunteerism roles to different aspects of the policing profession. Volunteers will now be able to assist in activities throughout the organization, including different sections of the Operations and Support Services Bureaus.
