PROJECT UPDATES
-The Cities construction teams are busy working on wood trim work in the front area to portray a professional and inviting atmosphere. They will follow this with the remodel of the public women’s bathroom downstairs.
-While we are excited to share our new building, the City has had to continually push back any ribbon cutting and grand opening due to issues related to third parties and supply chains. This includes the glasswork and the audio/video elements in the Council Chambers/Courtroom. Fingers crossed these items can be completed soon to allow for an event this spring.
-Fiber internet is now being provided by Frontier Communications and Sparklight. Both providers are still working on finishing the construction of their infrastructure, however, both are signing up new customers and installing currently. This is a huge opportunity for our citizens and business owners who have been wanting other options. Now multiple options are available which will create a healthy competition for better rates and customer service.

National Law Enforcement Day
January 9th, 2023 | Law Enforcement Officers of every rank and file have chosen a profession that puts their life on the line every day for their communities. They’ve answered a call to public service that is demanding and often unappreciated. On National Law Enforcement Day, we have an opportunity to thank them for their service.
