From: City of IrvineCity of Irvine Named Top Workplace for Third Year in a Row by The Orange County Register
Companies honored embraced strength, exceptionality, success, and culture.
IRVINE, Calif. (December 12, 2023): The City of Irvine was awarded a Top Workplaces 2023 honor and ranked No. 14 on the list of Large Companies with 500 or more employees in the 16th annual The Orange County Register’s list of Top Workplaces awards and magazine publication.
This is the third consecutive year the City of Irvine has received this prestigious award, and the only Orange County municipality to receive this recognition.
"In the heart of Irvine, we are not just building a city; we are nurturing a community. The honor of being named a top workplace is a testament to the collaborative spirit, innovation, and dedication of our residents and workforce,” said Mayor Farrah N. Khan. “Together, we are cultivating an environment where excellence thrives, and the pulse of progress beats strong."
This is the 16th year The Orange County Register has partnered with Energage,?a Philadelphia-based workplace survey and employer-relations company,?to determine Orange County’s Top Workplaces. The results are based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey that uniquely measures 15 culture drivers that are critical to the success of any organization, including alignment, execution, and connection. Survey questions ranged from ranking an employee’s opinion on the efficiency of the company to sharing thoughts on the pay and benefits packages offered by their workplace.
Of the 146 employers who made the overall list, Irvine ranked No.14 on the list of Large Companies with 500 or more employees. Employers are ranked among groups of similar size to most accurately compare results. Within those size groupings, companies are ranked, and those that score high enough are recognized as Top Workplaces. Any employer is eligible to participate as long as they have at least 35 employees in the county. Employers can be public, private, nonprofit, or governmental.
