It's thyme to get cooking with City of Irvine classes. Chefs-in-training gain confidence in the kitchen through safely preparing a variety of foods, properly handling common cooking tools, following a recipe, and practicing math skills by learning to measure ingredients. Classes combine tasty recipes with hands-on practice, encouraging self-confidence and creativity.

Kid Cooks: Prepare a variety of foods from scratch while learning safe kitchen practices; ages 3–5.
Junior Bakers: Make crafts and delicious desserts with help from a parent or guardian; ages 3–5.
Pizzapalooza: Learn to make different variations of pizza in a fun, creative way; ages 6–12.
Delightful Desserts: Create easy desserts such as cakes and cookies while learning kitchen safety and culinary tricks; ages 6–12.
Don't Forget: Complete your Child's Participant Medical Form
It takes just a few minutes to complete a Participant Permission and Medical Data Form to provide information that can help us support your child in an emergency. The form is required once per year, per child. You can submit your 2023 form here. If you have already submitted your 2023 form, but have updated allergy or medical information, you can also submit an update.
