Fall Exhibitions at Irvine Fine Arts Center Close February 11

This week is your last chance to view the Irvine Fine Arts Center fall exhibitions: In This World and Infinite Timeline. The exhibitions run through Saturday, February 11.

Presented in the Main Gallery, In This World evaluates moving through the world with pocket-sized time machines. Showing in Gallery 1, Infinite Timeline features sculptural works by Regina Herod and paintings by Alexandra Wiesenfeld that explore the mutability of history and storytelling as they relate to themes of nature, reason, and empire. 

Gallery hours are 10 a.m.–8 p.m. Monday–Thursday, 10 a.m.–5 p.m. Friday, and 9 a.m.–5 p.m. Saturday. The opening reception, exhibitions, and parking are free. For more information, visit irvinefinearts.org/exhibitions.

Teen Specialized Workshop
Waterfall Landscape Painting

Experiment with different materials, learn new techniques, and launch your creativity in fun and advanced one-day workshops. Teens will challenge themselves with more advanced projects to build their art skills. In this one-day workshop, students will paint a vivid waterfall scene using multiple painting techniques to create texture and depth. Fee: $24. Ages 12–17.

Become a Studio Arts Festival Artist

Studio Arts Festival exhibitors are juried by application, work in a variety of media, and display a high level of expertise in their field. Outdoor spaces are 10 feet by 10 feet, with a maximum of two pre-approved exhibitors per space. Exhibitors who would like to share a space should submit one application.
