This City event will begin with a free public reception at 5 p.m., followed by the State of the City Address at 6 p.m., where Mayor Farrah N. Khan will reflect on accomplishments from 2022 and share initiatives and highlights for 2023.
This year’s event, hosted at the Irvine Barclay Theatre, will also include performances by community organizations including, Irvine Girl Scout Troops 3369 and 5415, Gospel Voices Youth Choir, L.A. DAF Ensemble, and Chinese Dance Company of Southern?California.
“I am so pleased to have the opportunity to update our community on the incredible progress and accomplishments we have made over the past year. As we continue to grow and thrive, we remain committed to the vision of Irvine’s Master Plan; providing an exceptional quality of life to our unique and diverse community,” said Mayor Farrah N. Khan. “I look forward to sharing more about our plans to support economic growth, enhance our public spaces, and invest in sustainable practices that will ensure a bright and prosperous future for generations to come.”
Complimentary parking is available at the UCI Student Center Parking Structure adjacent to the Barclay. The Barclay Theatre is located at 4242 Campus Drive, Irvine.
