FENTANYL INVESTIGATION LEADS TO ARREST
Over the past several weeks, Detectives with the Lake Havasu City Police Department’s Special Investigations Unit, which is part of the Mohave Area General Narcotics Enforcement Team (MAGNET), have been investigating a male subject selling suspected fentanyl pills in the Lake Havasu City area.
On January 17, 2023, at approximately 7:02 p.m., officers with the Lake Havasu City Police Department responded to a collision involving a vehicle and a bicyclist on Lake Havasu Ave. N. at Willow Ave. The investigation revealed that a 2015 Dodge Ram with a single occupant was traveling southbound on Lake Havasu Ave. N., turning onto Willow Ave., when it struck a male on an electric bicycle who was traveling northbound on Lake Havasu Ave.
