Mankato-Special Event Support Grant applications will be accepted until 4:30 p.m., Friday, December 9. This grant has been established to help community not-for-profit organizations initiate and develop events by providing funding that will help create strong, healthy and sustainable events.

Grant funds can be used for:

-Special event staffing and labor costs for set-up and take-down.

-Police services.

-Fire services.

Applicants will be eligible for no more than $2,000.
