From: City of MesquiteCity Council to meet Dec. 5
Mesquite City Council meets December 5 at City Hall, 757 N. Galloway Ave. Members of the public, applicants and interested parties may attend the meeting in person. Face coverings are optional for attendees, but the city will continue to implement social distancing measures with limited seating. Members of the public desiring to comment during Citizens Forum must preregister as follows: Send an email or call the City Secretary on or before 3 p.m. December 5 at [email protected] or 972-216- 6244. Provide the City Secretary with your name and address. Comments on agenda items may be made during the meeting or by submission on or before 3 p.m. on December 5 to the following email address: [email protected]. View meeting agendas online. Christmas in the Park is Dec. 3 and 4

Christmas at the Ranch on Dec. 10
Stop by to see the historic Florence Ranch Homestead, 1424 Barnes Bridge Road, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. decorated for Christmas with fresh garlands. Make a craft, and enjoy the many photo opportunities in the park, you can even visit with St. Nicholas! Noche de Fiesta on Dec. 10
Enjoy this holiday-themed event on Dec. 10 from 4 to 8:30 p.m. at Vanston Park, 2913 Oates Drive, that will offer fun for the whole family with yard games, crafts for the children, and inflatables. Santa Cop runs through Dec. 9
The Santa Cop Toy Program runs through Dec. 9, 2022. Donations of new, unwrapped toys can be dropped off at the lobby of the Mesquite Police Department at 777 N. Galloway Road. You can also make a monetary donation to the Santa Cop Toy Program here.
