Mesquite City Council meets Monday, Feb. 6, at 7 p.m. at City Hall, 757 N. Galloway Ave. Members of the public, applicants and interested parties may attend the meeting in person. Face coverings are optional for attendees, but the city will continue to implement social distancing measures with limited seating. Members of the public desiring to comment during Citizens Forum must preregister as follows: Send an email or call the City Secretary on or before 3 p.m. on Feb. 6 at [email protected] or 972-216-6244. Go Red Gala to be held on Feb. 3

City launches new Mesquite Pay system
The City of Mesquite now offers a more secure, convenient, and user-friendly online payment system for its customers called Mesquite Pay. The new and improved system provides many benefits to customers for fast bill pay. The new features include: fast bill pay; an improved user experience; a “Pay Now” feature that allows for quick payment without having to register an account; and registered account enhancements, including the ability to view and pay multiple accounts at once as well as view payment history and consumption information. Tickets on sale now for 2023 Daddy Daughter Dance
Tickets are on sale now for the 2023 Daddy Daughter Dance. This annual event is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 18. The dance will have a Masquerade theme and will be held at the Mesquite Convention Center, 1700 Rodeo Drive.
