Mondays with the Mayor: Hwy. 54 bridge project moves forward

Peachtree City Mayor Kim Learnard shares some much anticipated news about the multiuse path bridge on Hwy. 54 and a new Georgia Department of Transportation project that could help ease congestion in the heart of the city

New Council Member & Mayor Pro Tempore sworn in

At the December 15, 2022, City Council meeting, Clint Holland took the oath of office and started his term as the post 3 City Council Member.

Post 1 Council Member Phil Prebor was also named Peachtree City’s Mayor Pro Tempore (pronounced pro tem).

Peachtree City produced the official SPLOST manual for voters to learn about the Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax and how the community benefits from it.

Walmart partially reopening December 21st

Four months after a fire closed the Walmart on Hwy 54, we have a date for it to reopen.

The Peachtree City store will partially reopen to customers on December 21st. This is a limited/phased opening for the grocery side only.

The Mayor and City Council will be on hand to cut the ribbon and welcome shoppers back to the supercenter.
