The Public Works department for the City of Russellville is seeking to fill the following position:

Maintenance Technician

Responsible for grounds and building maintenance for the City properties including mowing and weed-eating. Building maintenance such as painting walls and trim; inspecting and changing HVAC filters as needed; inspecting fire extinguishers, smoke/carbon monoxide detectors; checking and maintaining exterior drainage; checking and repairing minor flooring issues; inspecting plumbing for leaks and cleaning aerators on faucets; checking and maintaining windows and doors; interior and exterior building maintenance as assigned. Maintain and assist with repairs on HVAC equipment, plumbing, and electrical. Working knowledge of safety principles. Must be able to work outside. 

High school diploma, valid Arkansas driver’s license and 2 years related experience and/or training required.   Electrical license preferred. 

Annually $30,834
