The City of Show Low is proud to announce the completion and grand opening of our inclusive playground and splash pad at Frontier Field.  Our playground initiative began in 2017 in partnership with Unlimited Play.   This project has been made possible by the generosity of our donors, the grants received, and the dedication and care of our staff.  

Our inclusive playground is the first ever to be installed in Arizona.  It is our distinct honor and privilege to have been able to install a destination playground and play area here in the City of Show Low.  In addition to the playground, the facility will also include a splash pad area.  Construction of the splash pad has been completed; however, due to winter weather conditions, it will not open until the spring of 2023.  

The Frontier Park playground allows children of all abilities to play together.  It was designed with the specific goal of inclusivity, promoting the opportunity for children of all physical abilities and mental attributes to enjoy.  Our community’s children can now enjoy an experience they have never been able to before, the ability to play with their peers free from restrictions in a safe and engaging environment.
