Every year, one of the most important things a city does is plan and pass an annual operating and capital budget. Tempe’s budget covers all services and programs for residents, including recreation and cultural programs, trash and recycling, streets, parks and multi-modal transportation options.

Tempe is formulating the operating and capital budgets for fiscal year 2023-24, which begins on July 1, 2023.
Additional public input opportunities will be available as part of the Council’s planned budget meetings that occur between now and June.
