Tempe, AZ - You can be a Tempe know-it-all in just 30 minutes every Friday. Just listen to Tempe This Week: the podcast.
The new, energetic podcast launches Friday, March 3 with a group of diverse Tempe voices dishing news of the week, local food, events, music, arts and more. Every episode will also feature an interview with a Tempe VIP and co-host Roy Tatem. Spill the tea with us!
Additional podcast hosts will shift weekly to include upbeat, knowledgeable Tempe staff from several city departments and organizations, giving expertise on a wide variety of issues that everyone cares about. The podcast is produced internally by the Tempe Communication and Marketing Office.
New episodes drop every Friday. You will be able to find them starting Friday, March 3 at tempe.gov/TempeThisWeek, Podbean, Spotify and most other podcast platforms.

March 3: Take Me Out to the Ballgame - on location at Tempe Diablo Stadium
Guests: Get the inside scoop on Spring Training from Michael Martin, President and CEO of the Tempe Tourism Office and Tempe Diablo Stadium manager Jerry Hall.

March 10: So hot! 2nd Sundays on Mill
Guests: We’re celebrating the 2nd Sundays on Mill market. Mayor Corey Woods and Councilmember Randy Keating compete in a hot wings challenge with wings prepared by Word of Mouth Grill using Big Red’s Hot Sauce. And Furious Styles Crew is in the house!
March 17: Outdoor Tempe - on location from a boat on Tempe Town Lake
Guests: Tempe Recreation staff will talk about the many outdoor activities Tempe offers, like dragon boating, rowing, hiking, skateboarding and league sports
March 24: South Tempe Vibes
Guests: Vice Mayor Jennifer Adams shares her love of south Tempe and what makes it special. Spaghetti Shack owner Joey Palomarez gives the why not? behind his famous spaghetti tacos.
March 31: Festival of the Arts
Guests: Meet the Downtown Tempe Authority team that brings you the Festival of the Arts every year and find out what’s new and special about this event. The Salted Knot co-owner Maria Vassett will share pretzels and talk about the importance of community festivals for small food purveyors.
