Christmas is Saved!

Last week the ward 6 office was visited by a Grinch who came in the dark of night and stole the star from our community holiday tree. The hearts of little ones throughout the region were broken by this senseless act of selfishness.

In last weeks newsletter I shared the Dr. Seuss story How The Grinch Stole Christmas. In it the Grinch is confronted by Cindy Lou Who who asked 'why are you taking our Christmas tree, why?' Well she had the same reaction to the loss of our star. 

The great news is that Cindy Lou Who's shaming of the Grinch has resulted in the return of our star. As was the case with the original thief, we captured the Grinch returning the star on our ward 6 security video. Here's the footage of the Grinch with Cindy-Lou Who there to be sure he finished the job.

The star is back and Christmas is saved. We at the ward 6 office thank Cindy Lou Who for her hard work in tracking down the Grinch - and yes, we thank the Grinch for returning our star and brightening the hopes of the region for a joyous and happy holiday season - however your family celebrates.
