TUCSON RODEO PARADE TOMORROW - Billed as "the world’s longest non-motorized parade," the annual Tucson Rodeo Parade begins tomorrow at 9 a.m. at Ajo Highway, 1/2 mile east of Park Avenue, then travels east to Park Avenue, heads south on Park to Irvington Road, then west on Irvington to Sixth Avenue, moving north on Sixth to the north end of the Tucson Rodeo Grounds. The judges and reviewing stands are on the north side of Irvington, close to Sixth Avenue. Each year’s parade maintains the spirit of the first one held in 1925. Motorists can expect delays and road closures associated with this event, so plan accordingly and use caution when driving, bicycling, or walking in the area. Specific road closures and a map can be found at the bottom link below.
