Valentine Tree

The ward 6 holiday tree has a regular stream of visitors taking pictures and just enjoying the unique and novel amenity to the entryway. We have decided to squeeze one more holiday from the tree and have transitioned it into a Valentine’s Day Tree.

Drop by the ward office with your sweetie and take some pics to send to friends and loved ones. Send us the pictures and we’ll choose a winner – a box of See’s Chocolate. My staff will be the judges and we’ll announce it in an upcoming newsletter. Valentine’s Day is Tuesday so get us the pictures by the end of Wednesday and we’ll go to work picking the winner.

Thank you for your overwhelming support of the plastics program. With the program now scaling up citywide, our next goal is to enlist other cities. Share your Valentine by email with people who live outside of Tucson. It could help plant the seed to see this program expanded way beyond our city limits.
