COLDWATER – Tibbits Opera House wishes to extend its appreciation to the Coldwater Board of Public Utilities for its sponsorship of Million Dollar Quartet as a part of this year’s Summer Theatre series, as well as its sponsorship support of the theatre for the past decade.

CBPU and Tibbits Opera House share a foundation of being community-powered and community-focused. Just as Tibbits strengthens the community by creating and showcasing theatre, art, music and culture, CBPU strengthens Coldwater by providing residents with safe, reliable and affordable utility products and services, including electric, water and wastewater, digital phone service and GIG fiber internet.

CBPU focuses on its community impact, and takes pride in its support of local organizations and initiatives, including being a proud sponsor of the Tibbits Summer Theatre since 2015.

“Like public power, Tibbits enhances the quality of life for residents and visitors of Coldwater. We are proud to invest in and strengthen the vibrancy of our community with our sponsorship of Tibbits Summer Theatre,” said CBPU Utility Director Paul Jakubczak, PE.

Million Dollar Quartet sees Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and Carl Perkins come together on December 4, 1956 at Sun Studio in Memphis. These four music legends embark upon an unforgettable jam session, and a night filled with electrifying performances and timeless rock and roll classics that defined an era. With a sensational set list featuring hits like “Blue Suede Shoes” and “I Walk the Line,” this Tony Award-nominated show invites audiences to celebrate the legacy of the music that changed the world. Million Dollar Quartet runs June 13, 14 and 18-21. Tickets and information are available at Tibbits.org, or by calling 517.278.6029.
