Join us for a special screening of Buck Fever, the cult-classic whitewater film that originally dropped in 1998 and helped shape the spirit of modern freestyle kayaking. Packed with raw energy, humor, and iconic paddling footage, this film captures the early days of a movement that still inspires river runners today.

Whether you're a longtime fan or seeing it for the first time, Buck Fever promises a high-energy ride through the roots of whitewater culture-with some local legends and big laughs along the way.

Stick around for live commentary and stories from the original crew, plus music and good vibes to follow. Don't miss this chance to catch a throwback that still hits hard.

Airing of Grievances Plays the hits from the 80s, 90s and 00's Playing rock, alternative, and punk. Music to dance to and scream along the lyrics that will take you back to high school but better this time.

DJ Filfee is a seasoned DJ and music producer whose deep passion for sound has shaped a dynamic career. Known for his high-energy sets and seamless blending of an eclectic mix of music, DJ Filfee brings a unique flavor to the stage that captivates listeners and keeps the dance floor alive.

Having owned and operated a nightclub in Breckenridge, Colorado for ten years, DJ Filfee's extensive experience in both the local and global music scene has given him a rare ability to connect with any crowd. His love for music started early and has only grown with time, drawing inspiration from the classic rhythms of hip hop and the hard-hitting energy of bass-driven sounds.

Whether he's spinning in intimate venues or large club vibes, DJ Filfee's sets are a journey, expertly weaving together beats, melodies, and crowd energy into an unforgettable experience. 10:00 pm - 1:00 am: Leadville Cherokee Live at The Ivy Ballroom

Leadville Cherokee is a rock band from Colorado that mixes the elements of rock, funk, country, and crustpunk with pure energy. The band counts Ween, Paul Cauthen, The Steeldrivers, and Bill Withers as guiding influences.  Leadville Cherokee's sound is like if Conway Twitty and Frank Zappa had a love child, while Pantera sat back and got stoned

Leadville Cherokee was formed in 2009 by guitarist Mark Nierneberger and Pete Albrect, adding Brian Carter on bass and Zack Kochetta on drums along the way. The band has been active in the high country of Colorado, typically playing whitewater festivals such as Royal Gorge Whitewater Festival, Paddlefest, and headlining FIBArk in 2021. The band has also headlined esteemed venues from Buena Vista's Lariat, Boulder's Fox Theatre, and more.

The band released album "How to Build a Fire" in 2015, with a music review by Brian Rill of Colorado Central Magazine writing "Leadville's style of rock is immensely polished… an array of genres", and has newly released its highly-anticipated "Been A Long Time" in June 2023.

Range, appeal and a massive dose of nasty, gritty bass are the three chief weapons every Dirtybird artist has in his quiver, but Ardalan seems to be the peak culmination of all those assets in one wieldy point. This young archer has had the incomprehensible luck to fall into crew with his idols, be reared by their best and given some of their most guarded musical secrets, then hoisted to a platform to blare his prodigious beats from places where most creators can only dream of being. Born in Tehran, Iran, Ardalan Noghre-Kar possesses a peculiar, fresh perspective on music genesis without even trying. His mixes, remixes and dubs are known for their sass, energy and wickedly wry samples that snap like a wet towel to the face, but his original tracks are where his efforts shine, like those released with Justin Martin-"Mr. Spock," a 2010 party anthem charted by Diplo and Jesse Rose, and "Lezgo," charted by Dog Blood (Skrillex and Boyz Noise)-and those soon-to-be-released on his own EP with Dirtybird. It's no wonder he's been given the nod by everyone from Papa Dirtybird himself (Claude Von Stroke) and A-Trak to those who are charting his remixes, like Maya Jane Coles, Audiojack, and Riva Starr, the last of whom he has an upcoming remix for to be released on Snatch. The greatest strength in Ardy's music is his ability to whip out hits that work equally well from the dankest basements to the most opulent dancefloors; sounds that satisfy those with diverse tastes who can unite under his single agenda of having a good time.

The Paddle to The Beach is a fun, downriver party paddle with family and friends to tacos and a drink on the River Runners Beach! Cruise through the infamous Milk Run (beginner/intermediate section) of our Arkansas River. May 26th, 2025. Paddle hard or kick back! Come join the float!
