Join us for a jubilant experience blending local charm, live entertainment, and the juiciest strawberries in town. Immerse yourself in the essence of small-town warmth as we mark this golden milestone. Every moment is as sweet as our beloved berries – come make history with us!

Friday, June 14, 2024

6:30pm: Softball Tournament

Our largest off site event is the Crawfordsville Strawberry Festival Softball Tourney with participating teams for all over the state. Games will be played at the Elston Softball Complex featuring different classes of competition.

Between games, players and their families can travel the short distance to the Lane Place, site of the Crawfordsville Strawberry Festival.  Youngsters can enjoy the Children’s Area while parents can explore the Arts & Crafts Area and take in the free entertainment on the main stage.  Everyone can discover the many wonderful food treats on the Food Court.  Make it a total family fun weekend.

Tennis Tournament:

One of our most popular off-site events is our Crawfordsville Strawberry Festival Tennis Tournament with many individuals participating in various classifications and divisions.

Matches will be played on Saturday and Sunday at sites located at Crawfordsville High School. Awards will be presented for different divisions. Grab your racket and head to Crawfordsville for some fun, food, entertainment and good tennis.

5K Run/Walk:

The 5k Race is open to any male or female runner in good physical condition.  Runners will check in at the Crawfordsville City Building located at the intersection of N Water St and E Pike St.  The running course will close for 45 minutes after the start of the race.

Overall male and female top 3 finishers will receive $100, $60 and $35 awards respectively.  Each Division 1st Place finisher will receive a $10 award.  All prizes will be handed out at the completion of the event and you MUST be present to receive your award.  Souvenir t-shirts will be given to all preregistered competitors.

After the 5k Race results have been tabulated, a 1k Kiddie Romp for ages 9 and under will be held at the Crawfordsville City Building.  Appropriate awards will be presented.

10:00 AM – 3:00 PM: Cornament

Join us for our 3rd Annual Cornament (Corn Hole Tournament). This year we have two separate tournaments a Recreational Tournament for those looking to play at a leisurely pace, or a Competitive Tournament to test your skills against the best. The Recreational Tourney is from 10 AM - Noon. The Competitive Tourney is from 1 PM - 3 PM. Register today by clicking here.

Blood Drive:

Life-saving blood transfusions are very commonly required for people of all ages. About one in seven people entering a hospital will need blood.  Every three seconds, someone needs blood.

Car Show:

?If you are interested in older cars, we’ve got you covered. The Ben Hur Car Club will again be hosting their Strawberry Festival Car Show on Sunday from 8:00am till 4:00pm. Over 150 classic cars and trucks are expected for this popular yearly event.  Registration is on Pike Street at the corner with Washington Street (US231) from 8:00am till noon and the fee is $15.00.  We’re also asking for a voluntary donation of 2 cans of food per entry to go to our local F.I.S.H. food pantry.  The vehicle display areas will be on Pike Street from Washington Street to Green Street and on Green Street from St. John’s Episcopal Church north to Main Street and all parking lots in between.  The first 100 entries will receive dash plaques and judged awards will be presented to the “Top 40” entries at 3:00pm along with the “Best of Show Award”.  Other features include a 50/50 drawing along with music by DJs Wes and Diana Shelton.  For more information, you can contact Steve Zachary at 765-225-1279 or Tom Durbin at 765-307-2242.
