You might have noticed how the Louisville Orchestra has attracted a national spotlight for its transformative, trendsetting programming. Maybe you’ve also seen the members of the Creator Corps living and working in your communities, integrating their pathbreaking music into the fabric of the city. So you know this is no ordinary concert of contemporary music—this is what happens when committed people (including you!) come together to forge a future where creativity and connection matter. Will the orchestra’s next Grammy be minted here? Be in the room when Andrew Norman’s hyper-kinetic piano concerto Split is recorded live.

Louisville Creator Corps World Premiere

Prepare to be among the first to experience the extraordinary compositions by Baldwin Giang, Brittany Green, and Oswald Hu?nh, born from the deep integration of artists into the heart of Louisville’s artistic landscape. These pieces are a testament to the innovative spirit of LOCC, reflecting the diverse perspectives, stories, and inspirations of our resident creators.

Under the visionary leadership of conductor Teddy Abrams and the creative passion and musical exploration of the Louisville Creators Corps, Creators Fest promises an exciting exploration of artistry and originality. The Louisville Orchestra introduced the groundbreaking LOCC program in the 2022-23 season, deeply integrating artists into both the orchestra and the city of Louisville, making it the only program of its kind.

Creators Fest is not just a concert; it’s a collaboration of innovation, imagination, and the transformative power of music to connect and inspire. Join us in celebrating the Louisville Creators Corps (LOCC) – Brittany Green, Oswald Hu?nh, and Baldwin Giang – as they take the stage to unveil the world premiere compositions that represent their unique artistic expressions and ideas.

Don’t miss this extraordinary event as we applaud the creativity and dedication of LOCC’s resident creators, ushering in a new era of musical creativity at Whitney Hall!
