Oktoberfest originated once upon a time, centuries ago in Germany, when a handsome prince and beautiful princess were married in a storybook wedding. The joyous Germans, world renowned for their penchant to party at the drop-of-a-hat, put on a reception that lasted six weeks. They had so much fun they decided to do it every year since. And they do, they call it Oktoberfest.
