From: Dacotah Prairie Museum’s Harvest Stroll

Dacotah Prairie Museum’s Annual Harvest Stroll…Take a stroll downtown and experience the best of South Dakota’s fall activities in the autumn sunshine.

This year the event will be expanded all the way to Lincoln Street to incorporate the green space in front of the courthouse. Booths will be set up outside the museum building with fun autumn crafts, decorate a pumpkin, turkey shoot games with an historic twist, scenic photo ops, holiday raffle, and complimentary hot cider with a cookie. NEW this year, concessions – hot dogs and popcorn will be available for purchase.  Musical entertainment provided by Rosie Daze Band and Friends featuring hometown artist Johnna Lawrence. Rosie Daze songs blend fiddle and bluegrass music with originals and fun covers to delight all audiences. Fiddlers Dan Sheldon and Judith Oliver will provide interludes of old-time music. Bring a lawn chair or blanket and find a spot on the courthouse green where lawn games will be found. Afterwards stroll on over to the K.O. Lee Public Library for their Touch-a-Truck event! Welcome to fall in Brown County! An event for all ages. In case of inclement weather, event moves inside museum building. Free admission, donations appreciated.
