From: Hawaii Governor Josh Green, M.D.HONOLULU – The Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs (DCCA) Business Registration Division is pleased to announce the return of the annual Financial Literacy Fair on Thursday, April 6, 2023, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Tamarind Park, Bishop Square in Downtown Honolulu.
The DCCA Business Registration Division celebrates Financial Literacy Month in April by hosting an in-person informational fair featuring various government agencies and nonprofit organizations, to provide the general public with information on saving and investing, insurance, home ownership preparation, credit, planning for retirement, tips on financial fraud prevention, and more.
“Financial literacy is an important topic that touches on our everyday lives,” said Acting Securities Commissioner Ty Nohara. “We are excited to host this in-person event and we look forward to offering vital information and resources to help our local community make wise and safe financial choices.”
