Three New Passes to Local Attractions
Did you know that you can use your library card to borrow passes and receive discounts for local attractions and performances? Three new organizations have joined the lineup of free passes available for check out. Now you can take in a play at Shakespeare Tavern, walk through computing history at the Computer Museum of America and see exhibits and artifacts at the Atlanta History Center. The Book As Art v.11: Myth & Magic – White Glove Days and Artist Talks
Don't miss out on seeing The Book As Art v.11: Myth & Magic exhibit presented by Georgia Center for the Book and the Decatur Arts Alliance. On Saturday, October 28 and Monday, October 30, you can interact with works in the exhibition on White Glove Days. On Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m. (October 4, 11 and 18), artists will discuss their work during virtual artist talks (over Zoom; registration required). The exhibit runs through October 30, 2023 in the 4th Floor Gallery of Decatur Library. Find more information here.
