Family Composting Workshop
Saturday, November 4th at 11:00 a.m.
Join us for an all ages event to learn about composting. Climate & Coastal Resiliency Advisory Committee board member Julie Kennie, Municipal Assistance Coordinator Kari Parcell, and the Dennis Police Department will co-host an interactive workshop discussing composting and how to implement more sustainable pratices at home. The event will include a short overview of composting basics, games, videos, quizzes, and activities. Participants will receive composting kits, instructional materials, and a fun take home Mason jar experiment. Refreshments will be served.
Virtual Event: An Introduction to Guastavino Architecture
Tuesday, November 7th at 7:00 p.m.

Bigelow Library - Boston Public Library - Biltmore Estate in North Carolina - Cathedral of St. John the Divine - Carnegie Library at Mt. Vernon Square and hundreds of others. They are built--at least partially--using the Guastavino Technique.
Join Guastavino Alliance board member Rena Henderson to learn about this prolific architect and his Spanish building technique.

Friends of the Dennis Public Library Annual Meeting
Thursday, November 9th at 1:00 p.m.
The Friends of Dennis Public Library will hold its combined Regular and Annual meeting at the Dennis Public Library. The election of officers for 2024-2025 will be held. Come and learn how your support helps make Dennis Public Library a welcoming and interesting community destination. Friends members and residents are encouraged to attend.
