From: Missouri History MuseumCelebrate Día de los Muertos at the Missouri History Museum in Forest Park with altars that represent a variety of Latin American cultural traditions, live music and dance performances, an art display, food and drink vendors, a procession through the park, and more. Family Zones will offer face- or arm- painting for kids, arts and crafts, storytelling in Spanish, and other activities.
Schedule of Events:
Saturday, November 2, 2024
10am–6pm: Altar viewing and art display
10:30am: Cuentos en el Museo (bilingual Spanish-English storytelling)
11am–6pm: Outdoor musical entertainment and food and drink vendors
10am–4pm: Make-and-take crafts, including monarch butterflies and tissue-paper papel picado
12–4pm: Face-painting (free for kids 18 and under, $12 for adults)
2pm & 4pm: Dance performances
5:30pm: Procession through Forest Park
