The event turns a community of 1,500 into a quaint Victorian town from the era of Charles Dickens’. 3pm : A Garth Brooks Tribute-"The Garth Guy" -  KOTA Theater

Born and raised in Portland, Oregon, Dean Simmons followed in the footsteps of his father, uncle and grandfather to a career in country music. At just seven years old, he got his first guitar and played his first paid gig at 14.  He played bars, nightclubs, fairs and festivals all over the Pacific Northwest and also did USO tours for our troops in the US, the Far East, the Caribbean, and the South Pacific.

By 1994, Garth Brooks was dominating the charts and Dean set his sights on building an act to pay tribute to this modern country music icon. After studying concert footage, not only could he mimic Garth’s music, but he was also able to emulate his mannerisms; the walk, the talk, the laugh, and most importantly, the ability to engage and connect with an audience. He moved to Las Vegas in 1995 to try and make this act a success.

In ‘96, producer John Stuart discovered and hired him to perform in the world famous "Legends in Concert" in Las Vegas, as well as Myrtle Beach, Atlantic City, and several tours and one-night performances throughout the USA and Canada. Dean then produced his own 90-minute show based on Garth's live concerts, and became known as “The Garth Guy.” In 2014, Dean's "GarthGuy" show was featured on the national television show, "World's Greatest Tribute Bands" on AXS TV.  He has done national tours of Australia in 2017 and 2023. Dean’s online performance videos have accumulated well over one million views.

Dean has 5000+ live performances over 28 years under his belt, making him the busiest and most experienced Garth Brooks tribute artist in the world. He never tires of giving audiences across the globe a live Garth Brooks experience that is performed with respect and amazing accuracy. The Little Mermen are the ultimate Disney tribute concert for Disney fanatics of all ages. The band’s repertoire covers nearly a century of musical canon, including favorites from The Little Mermaid, Mary Poppins, Frozen and Encanto. The group performs in full costume with band members dressing up as

Woodie & The Longboards

Woodie and the Longboards is one of the most in demand cover acts in the country. Performing a variety of hit music from the 50’s to the 80’s “Woodie” has kept all of their clients happy by providing the most professional music with a highly interactive and entertaining show.

Woodie and the Longboards begun in 2002 by John “Woodie” Keating. Having just left a position as frontman for a Disney house band, John assembled musicians he had enjoyed working with over the years to focus on performing music from the 60’s and 70’s. This gave rise to “That 70’s Band” and “That 60’s Band”.  An agent from the Pacific Northwest asked if they had a more “beachy” sounding name that they could use to book as a Beach Boys Tribute for an Oregon Casino. John quickly decided on Woodie and the Longboards, they played Oregon, and have never looked back. Since that time they have performed Beach Party themed shows for a variety of clients across the country.

Heartache Tonight is the most authentic sounding tribute to The Eagles available today. Made up of the members of the very popular Woodie and the Longboards Beach Boys Tribute, Heartache Tonight have been singing 4 and 5 part harmonies together for years. David Harris

David Harris is a nationally touring, Midwest Emmy Award-winning comedian, magician, actor, and host who has entertained audiences for over 20 years. With 2000+ live performances, Harris regularly appears at top clubs, colleges, corporate events, theaters, alternative rooms and other elite venues across the U.S. and Canada. Most notably, Harris has performed at the New York Comedy Club in New York, Rick Bronson’s House of Comedy at the Mall of America in Minneapolis, the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, Goodnight’s Comedy Club in Raleigh, and at the Hollywood Improv Lab in Los Angeles. Ben Marcotte

Ben Marcotte is originally from rural Minnesota but moved to Minneapolis in 2015 to further pursue standup comedy. Since then, he’s performed all across the Upper Midwest to rave reviews.

Ben has performed at corporate events and clubs all over the Midwest including performances at: Goonies Comedy Club, Boss' Comedy Club, House of Comedy and the Paramount Theater in Austin, MN. Ben has particated in several festivals, including: the Minneapolis Comedy Festival, the Rise Comedy Festival in Denver, Colorado, Middle Ground Comedy Festival in Indianapolis, IN, the Charm City Comedy Festival in Baltimore, MD and the Sioux Falls Sno Jam Comedy Festival in Sioux Falls, SD. He has also competed in the Funniest Comedian in the Heartland contest in Lowell, AR, along with being a semi-finalist in the Funniest Person with a Day Job contest at the House of Comedy.
