Holiday Lighting Festival Presented by Baird

Head to Triangle Park on Sunday, December 1^st for our annual Holiday Lighting Festival Presented by Baird, from 3:00pm-7:00pm! 

At 6:00pm, witness the lighting of Lexington's Hanukkah Menorah and the illumination of Lexington's Christmas tree, with the help of Santa and Mayor Gorton. Plus, community choirs will sing festive songs sure to put everyone in the holiday spirit!

There will also be delicious food and warm beverage vendors (we couldn't have a holiday festival without warm cookies!) and family-friendly fun, like skating at The Rink at Triangle Park Presented by UK Federal Credit Union, before and after the lighting ceremony.

The holiday lighting festival is part of Luminate Lexington presented by Kentucky Utilities.

Looking for a unique way to celebrate Thanksgiving weekend? Head downtown to The Rink at Triangle Park Presented by UK Federal Credit Union with your friends and family! While the rink will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, you can skate to your heart's content during our special holiday hours this week

Thanksgiving Weekend Holiday Hours

Friday: 12:30pm-9:00pm

Saturday: 12:30pm-8:30pm

Sunday: 1:00pm-8:00pm

Guests of all ages can enjoy the ice rink for $18 for 60 minutes of skating and skate rentals. This year, you also have the unique opportunity to book the rink for private group skate rentals! You can inquire about dates by emailing DLP’s Director of Development and Events, Laura Farnsworth, here.
