January 13, 2025

From: East Tennessee Chinese New Year Festival

This large, family-friendly variety show is held annually in late January - early February during the Chinese New Year and brings together many local Chinese organizations for an afternoon of singing, dance, martial arts, and other performances to celebrate the coming of Spring! In past years, we have had professional musicians, dancers, and singers dazzle our audience, complemented by a wide variety of talented local performers.

Program

Our Special Guest this year will be the World’s Premier Umbrella Juggling Artist Lina Liu from New York City. Winner of the prestigious International Circus Gold Prize and a Guinness World Record holder, Lina often performs at NBA halftime shows, corporate events, and Festivals in the US and abroad.

Our 2025 Year of the Snake Festival will also feature a traditional Lion dance from Wah Lum Kung Fu, and a variety of Chinese dance, singing, and martial arts performances. Our lovely hostesses this year will include Dr. Athena Chen (ORNL) and Miss Elena Wu. We sincerely hope you can join us to welcome Spring and the Year of the Snake with our unique variety show!
